Reviews: Anjar, Baalbek & Ksara Day Trip - With Lunch
Guest User2025-08-25
Noushka, our guide, was phenomenal and had an in-depth understanding of the place she belongs to and the history. She explained throughout the trip the various important facets and was also patient when she had to repeat a few things when asked to do so by the other guests. Chamoun, our driver, was fast and furious but not unsafe at all and drove us reliably and efficiently in his van. Amazing trip. We chose to skip the winery as the other guests were not feeling well due to the heat - it was terribly hot but that’s to be expected during this season, I suppose. There however was no mention of 4G on board but neither did we ask for it as we had our data packs sorted.

Hassane was a great guide. Jeita Grotto was absolutely massive and awe inspiring. Byblos has so much fascinating history and archaeology which we could only scrape the surface of in the time we had.

This tour and the company that run it are one of the best out there. I have travelled extensively and rarely go on tours but I wanted to have a guide throughout the historical sites of lebanon. And this tour did not dissapoint. Albert was my guide and he was the best. So knowledgeable and helpfull and I had a great time talking to him about all things lebanon and more. He is an asset to this company. Lebanon is such a beautiful country when you are here this tour is a must!! Travelled July 2024. Kimberley

The whole trip exceeded my expectations.. I was collected in time, very friendly guide, and the very informative. Both main visits with a professional archeologist. On top the lunch was excellent. Although hesitant about Ksara, it turned out to be a nice end of the visit to the Beeka valley.
Reviews: Private Guided Tour to Jeita Grotto through Harissa and Byblos

I went to Jeida grotto, Byblos and Bartroun with Hassan. He picked me up at 12.30 and we got back at 7pm, including an ice-cream stop at the best spot! At $160 it was expensive but saw part of Lebabon outside Beirut which i would not have been able to access on my own. I declined the option of a local guide at Byblos as there was only 1/2 hour until closing and that was fine as Hassan is very knowledgable. He helped me scramble down into the impressive ruined grave. I also enjoyed chatting with Hassan about the reality of living in Lebanon. The grotto was amazing!

This was a really enjoyable day out to jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos. The wonderful guide Albert picked me up from the hotel and we travelled to the Grotto first. This is fantastic set of caves situated under the mountains. We finished with a great boat ride in the cave. We then headed for Harissa. The views of Beruit are magnificent! If you are lucky enough to get Albert as your your guide he will give you so much interesting information throughout the day. After coffee, we went to Byblos. This place was so interesting with a mixture of lots of civilisations in the same place. We had an archeologist who gave us a mist interesting tour. Then it was lunchtime. This was absolutely delicious. I had the sea bass with delicious salads of the Lebanon. Thanks Albert, it was a great day!!!!
