Lovely lunch and wine tasting with the owner. 6 lovely wines and a beautiful charcuterie lunch. Really lovely views and fabulous afternoon.
Reviews: Bordeaux: Saint-Emilion and Medoc Full-Day Wine Experience
Guest User2025-12-04
Our tour guide (Xavier) was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and well versed. He was very friendly and extremely helpful . Quite an expert on both wine and all things Bordeaux! He made our tour list of fun and we learned quite a bit about wines and the city! I would definitely recommend this tour. The only recommendation that I would have regarding the lunch would be instead of offering the dishes that we were served to offer a simpler lunch with more basic food, like sandwiches or more cheese, crackers, olives, etc., all things that could go on a charcuterie board and that would go great with wine.
Reviews: Bordeaux: Cité du Vin Entry Ticket and Wine Tasting

I saw lots of good reviews online and wasn’t really sure what to expect but I loved the experience! The staff are really warm and helpful and I think that’s indicative of the people in the city! A really interactive and immersive experience and the wine was gorgeous! I wish I had booked an actual wine tasting experience because I think it would have elevated my time, but for I really cannot fault the standard ticket with wine tasting, really great value for money and a lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the city!

Our guide, Hugo , was fantastic. His knowledge was excellent and he spoke perfect English. He had all kinds of interesting facts about the region and wines in general. The small chateau we visited was wonderful and actually preferable to a much larger chateau
