Reviews/Trip Moments

Reviews: Cairns koalas and creatures admission ticket - Cairns Koalas and Creatures at the Pier Ticket
Guest User2025-11-16
The koalas were so incredibly cute, and I was so happy to be able to hold one. They took photos right on time, so there was no wasted time. I thought it would be like a zoo, so I went early to look around the facility before my koala-holding time, but the main attraction is holding koalas, and the facility is very small, so you can see everything quickly. I was glad I arrived a little before my reservation time. The moment I picked up the koala, it rubbed against me affectionately, and it was so cute, I was very happy. They also took some great photos of the moment, so I'm glad I went.
Reviews: Cairns Green Island Big Cat half-day tour with snorkeling/glass-bottom boat
Guest User2026-01-31
Since we only had a short stay, we decided to take a quick afternoon tour. The boat ride to the island was very rocky due to the rain and rough weather. I got seasick and couldn't move, so I recommend taking motion sickness medicine if you are prone to seasickness. I was impressed to see sea turtles swimming gracefully nearby.
Reviews: Cairns Reef Magic 1-day tour [Reef Magic/Helicopter/Scuba Diving/Includes Buffet Lunch/Unlimited Snorkeling]
Guest User2026-02-22
It was a great day out! The crew were super organised and friendly, they were also very patient with the dozens of tourists who didn’t speak much English. It’s a big boat with a couple hundred tourists, so be prepared for that. Lunch was great! We had a great day out and snorkelling on the reef was just incredible.
Reviews: Cairns: Green Island Snorkelling or Glass Bottom Boat

We enjoyed our day at Green island. I was worried about getting seasick but the ferry was huge and the crossing to the island only took about forty minutes so I was fine. We opted to do the glass bottom boat trip and were lucky to see a giant turtle and a small shark. The walk around the island is beautiful and the beaches were stunning. A lovely place!
