The half day is a nice option if you don't have the 8-9hrs. The area is lovely and a full day would be a nice experience. Merak was our guide. He was knowledgeable and helpful to be sure that everyone had a great experience and individually. The day of our tour was beautiful and we chose to do the hike after the Basilica. There is a museum there for an entry fee of Art works that the monks have collected over the centuries. I hope to go back.

Ivan our guide was great! The visit to Montserrat was exceptional and he gave great recommendations for how to spend our time there. They explained plenty of history and gave interesting facts for us to better understand the region, mountain, and winery. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting the area.
