Reviews: From Paris: Normandy D-Day Beaches Day Trip

Highly recommend this day trip. There's a lot packed into the day, but Charlie (our driver) and Zoltan (tour guide) made sure we saw everything. Zoltan has so much knowledge about Normandy. He made the tour fun, while informative and kept everyone engaged. We went to Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Juno Beach, and Normandy American Cemetery. We stopped for lunch at a great place and Zoltan made sure we had enough time to eat and be ready for our next stop. The ride to Normandy took about 3 hours, but we stopped halfway for restrooms and food. Everything was well planned and Zoltan was AWESOME!!

Outstanding tour with Thelma to the beaches, museum, and cemetery in Normandy. Our small group of 10 guests traveled in a comfy, clean small van and enjoyed Thelma's thorough and entertaining commentary. We learned and experienced so much! Highly recommend.

📶 10-Day eSIM Experience in Switzerland (March 2026) #eSIM #SwitzerlandTravel #EuropeInternet #EssentialForIndependentTravel #StableNetwork During my 10-day independent trip to Switzerland in March 2026, I used eSIM for internet access throughout. The overall experience was stable and efficient. From receiving the QR code after purchase to completing the setup, it took only a few minutes to activate, without needing to change a physical SIM card. This is a huge plus for travelers with tight schedules. 📡 In Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, and the Jungfrau region, the network performance was generally stable. Signal strength in urban areas was almost perfect; navigation, checking train schedules, and uploading photos were all smooth. In mountainous areas or on moving trains, the signal occasionally weakened or became briefly unstable, but it remained within acceptable limits and did not affect overall usability. ⚙️ The biggest advantage of eSIM is its convenience. It allows you to retain your original phone number, ensuring uninterrupted reception of important messages. This is extremely useful for those who need to check transportation information or adjust their itineraries on the fly. Customer service response time was acceptable, and basic issues were resolved effectively. Overall, if your needs are "stable availability + time saving," this eSIM is a reliable choice for use in Switzerland. However, if you expect to maintain high-speed network access in remote mountainous areas, it's advisable to lower your expectations, as terrain factors still play a role.
