The catamaran tour with views of the coast, the water and the sunset was wonderful. The guides were polite, not the most talkative as compared to other guides of other tours I have taken in Costa Rica but very friendly and worked hard to serve food, drinks, give out snorkelling gear and guide the catamaran. The catamaran was very clean, as were all the facilities and equipment. The only thing that disappointed was the amount of sea life seen while snorkeling, still saw some just very small fish. We did see some dolphins and one sea turtle today, which was great. I understand it is not always possible to see things and not a reflection of the guides.★

This was our second time booking through Palo Verde Boat tours. I can not say enough good things about this tour and the family who runs it. They feel like family at this point. We were back in Costa Rica this time around to get married and they made us feel so special by having a little set up for when we returned from the boat tour. The drive to the location was beautiful and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the roads were!
We brought my in laws and my sister for the early birding tour and we saw so much including monkeys, crocs, jabirus, a scarlet macaw and so much more!
When we returned from the tour we had some dragonfruit ice cream and juice which was as always delicious!
I plan to come back to do this tour everytime I am in CR. Highly highly recommend!★

Absolutely amazing! Jordan, our guide was great! As I had experience with horses and felt comfortable, my husband and I were allowed to gallop them in the surf at one point which I was not expecting. It was exhilarating. It was my number 1 bucket list experience (gallop a white (grey) horse down the beach in the surf)! It just so happened Tequila was a white horse and I'll never forget him! Thank you Jordan! You are a wonderful human for giving us this experience. My husband had never been on a horse in his life and he got to experience the same and was absolutely thrilled! I could do this every day. <3 Pura Vida <3★

Absolutely wonderful experience! My fiancé and I were the only two on the tour and our tour guide was so knowledgeable and smart about the area, the wildlife and the ecology behind it all. He was determined to show us as many animals as possible and he proved it. We got to see iguanas, vultures, blue herrings, crabs, crocodiles, and monkeys! Such a beautiful experience.★

Our guide was very informative about Sea Turtles and honest about the best place to see them. Unfortunately our littlest wasn’t in a good place to travel very far to see them that night, so we went to the beach less likely to spot them. We didn’t end up seeing any turtles, but we were given realistic expectations and he offered us a boat tour to make up for it. We would have loved to have the time to make that happen but unfortunately couldn’t fit it in this trip. Still had a good time learning about turtles and it was nice of him to offer a boat tour even though not seeing any turtles wasn’t his fault, so we really appreciated that.
