Reviews: From Dalvik: Arctic Whale Watching in Northern Iceland

Best tour ever. The crew took more time than planned, which is how we were able to see so many whales up close. Plus, there was hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls.

Amazing group. Amazing tour. More importantly amazing people. I can not say enough!! Forest Lagoon is beautiful. So impressed. Then the Northen Lights tour was just do much fun!! Our very own Viking guide made sure we got to see a glimpse of the lights. He was on a mission. Which we all loved. The group itself is A+. They were so accomidating. Infact they also helped when my flights wete cancelled and assisted in looking at alternatives. I can not say enough. Rxcellent servide aboce expectation!!
Reviews: Akureyri: Arctic Coastline & Siglufjörður

From start to finish, this tour was absolutely fantastic. The tour guides were superb, (Asa and No1) nothing was too much trouble, including convenient pick-up and drop-off from our lodge, which made the whole day effortless. The whale watching was an incredible experience, full of unexpected and unforgettable moments that we’ll be talking about for years to come. 🐳 Driving along the Arctic coastline afterwards was simply breathtaking. The scenery was stunning, with plenty of stops at beautiful viewpoints along the way. The visit to the herring museum was another highlight, it truly felt like stepping into a time vault, packed with history and well worth the visit. Our Icelandic guides were clearly very proud of their country, bringing humour, warmth, and deep knowledge to the experience, which made the day even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, a perfect blend of nature, history, and great people
Reviews: Akureyri: Whale Watching Tour with Transfer from Port
Guest User2025-08-06
Wonderful excursion from Akureyri! Easy pick up from the port, friendly bus drivers, along with a stunning but reasonable drive to the harbor for the whale watching. Once we got to the harbor, we were provided with waterproof suits that also functioned as floating devices. I had worried about “will I be cold” but I was not and so glad they provided them. There were also clean WC facilities and nice selection of souvenirs, several made by people in Hauganes. The team on a boat was fantastic. We were relatively lucky and saw many humpback whales while we were there. On the return, we were given doughnuts and hot chocolate (or coffee). Overall an amazing experience with friendly and knowledgeable people. Highly recommend!
