Reviews: Blue Mountains Day Trip from Sydney Including Scenic World

The driver/guide Jed is very friendly with heart. He is kind to everyone. This is a bus tour and I prefer bus than small van for more spacious. We enjoy ourselves. The 55- min lunch is rather rush as the restaurant we picked is slow in service (I suppose similar situation in other restaurants).

A boat trip is worthwhile; enjoy the sea breeze and the ocean views.

As a couple, we took the small group tour to the Blue Mountains from Sydney, including Featherdale Wildlife Park and a short hike. Unfortunately, we had quite a lot of fog that day, so at many of the stops we could barely see the impressive vastness and beauty of the Blue Mountains. Luckily, the weather cleared up a bit in the afternoon, so we were able to catch a glimpse of the Three Sisters after all – albeit only briefly, as we had to move on. Our guide was fantastic: friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. He provided us with lots of fascinating information about the flora, fauna, and Sydney itself, both during the drive and at each stop. The well-planned restroom breaks were also a plus. The tour is ideal for anyone without a car or with limited time to get a first impression. However, we would love to explore the Blue Mountains again on our own – the region is huge and offers much more than you can possibly see in one day.
