Reviews: Gudauri, Kazbegi, Zhinvali, Ananuri, Stepantsminda From Tbilisi

The Gudauri scenery was truly beautiful, and amazing. The Monument of friendship Georgia and Russia also have nice mountain scenery, but it was very cold that day (i suggest you check you weather apps and maybe you need to bring warm clothes for this trip). Everything are still well-preserved and clean. We really had a great time there. The tour guide was excellent, explaining things patiently and in details He was also always present and looking after the tour participants. The bus was also nice and clean. The food served at the local restaurant was delicious and they served the local traditional cuisines of Georgia. We also had a free wine tasting experience at this restaurant and my God that Chacha drink really like whiskey and make my whole afternoon really happy (if you know what i mean). Truly amazing experience.

I had an amazing time on this trip, it was both very informative and a lot of fun. Our guides, Zooka and George, were fantastic: friendly, engaging, and full of interesting information that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They created such a great atmosphere and made everyone feel included. As a solo traveler, I never felt left out, they made sure everyone was getting along and part of the group. The driver was also excellent and skilled, which made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Overall, I highly recommend this tour and would happily give it 5 stars!

The places seen on the tour were just as described in the tour description. We saw everything and it was all beautiful!! The bus was very comfortable. The tour lasted from 9am-8pm so plan for a full day. Bring enough cash (20 GEL) for the extra ride to the Gergeti Trinity Church since it is totally worth it! Also bring cash for the lunch and any snacks along the way (20-50 GEL). Only complaint was lunch was at the Best Western in Gudauri. While the food itself was not bad, travelers from the US at least don’t typically want to go to a hotel chain for a meal on a special tour. Otherwise loved it. Especially for how affordable the tour is.

Had a great time with this tour. Our first stop was Zhinvali Reservoir, followed by Ananuri. We then passed through Gudauri, visited Gergeti, and finally Kazbegi, where we saw a beautiful mural called the Friendship Monument. All the places were stunning. Our tour guide David was not only nice and funny but also shared a lot of interesting information about the food and the places we visited, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We also got to taste wine and honey, which was a fun bonus (I didn’t drink much, but it was still nice to try!). A big thank you to David and the driver for making the trip so smooth and fun. I would definitely recommend this tour.
