Reviews: Lake Louise,Emerald Lake and Seasonal Moraine Lake Day Trip from Banff/Calgary/Canmore
_TIKR******elknom2026-10-01
We joined this tour in late September. It was given in both English and Chinese, and our guide Lisa and driver James did a great job, thank you.
The itinerary order was different from what is shown on the website; as Lisa explained, the change meant we arrived at each lake at the best time of day, and we saw both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise at their most beautiful. We spent about an hour at each lake and still visited many other places. Our group was around 40 people, but everyone kept to the schedule well, and we managed to see all the essential spots in one day. On the way back, Lisa dropped guests off at their different hotels. There were mandatory a $5 customer fee and a $20 service fee per head. I think this is their version of a tip. If you want a relaxing tour, this one may be too tight. But if you want to see everything in one day, I recommend it.★

I highly recommend this Banff day trip! A special thank you to our guide Rick, who was incredibly nice and provided detailed and informative commentary throughout. He clearly explained the Rocky Mountains, lakes, and local stories, maintained a great pace, and catered to both English-speaking and Chinese-speaking passengers. The itinerary was smooth and comfortable, making this Banff trip a truly unforgettable experience!Trip.com picks
