It's very practical, but it's a bit of a loss if the railway is operating in winter. Hokkaido has beautiful scenery, but train tickets are too expensive. Using this is more cost-effective if you're visiting multiple places. However, if there's a blizzard and the railway stops, there are no refunds.

Thank goodness for the sunny day! Our guide, Mr. Oscar, was very attentive to the group members, introducing the unique features of each attraction and recommending great value restaurants in Otaru Shopping Street. He was a very competent guide. We visited many places, but thanks to the day tour with direct transportation, it was much easier and more convenient. It was a very fulfilling and satisfying day.
