Absolutely loved this spice garden tour and the cooking class. Upulu’s knowledge was incredible and we learnt so much about all the types of spices in Sri Lankan cooking but also daily spices we use but don’t think about how they’re grown and made into what we know in the kitchen like cinnamon and nutmeg. The cooking class itself was fun and interactive. We learnt how to make quite a few dishes and the best part was the eating!! Our cooking teacher was absolutely amazing and Lahiru (the guy helping us, not sure if I’ve spelt his name correctly) was as the real hero making sure everything was smooth and cleaning for us as we went along. Very good way to meet new people and learn other customs. 10/10 experience, would recommend.

I really enjoyed the ATV ride. It started off a bit more leisurely so I could get to know the vehicle a bit. We drove up to a hill with a wonderful view. The guide told us a bit of stories, and then we went on to a more challenging course where we could do a bit of drifting and take tricky turns, and practice plenty of things. This tour, which was also designed to be completely safe, left nothing to be desired. The guide's helpfulness is particularly noteworthy; he was able to get me the materials I needed to attach my GoPro camera to my helmet. Thank you so much for the tour and your dedication!
