An incredible activity. The view of Poris and the cave is beautiful, but the moment we saw the dolphins is indescribable. It was hard to see them, but it was a unique experience. Highly recommended. The boat crew was lovely.

It was a great experience, with a very comprehensive tour of the southern and central parts of La Palma. The Tajogaite volcano area was very impressive. You can feel the suffering they endured and also the strength they exerted and continue to exert to overcome the forces of nature.

A fabulous experience. We had a small group of 5 and our guide, Amanda, was very informative and attentive. The walk is not too difficult and doesn’t need any special equipment, if you can easily manage a 3 mile walk across fields and a couple of gentle hills you’ll be fine. Be prepared to get dusty and sand in your shoes though. We did it as a self-organised excursion on a cruise ship stop in s/c de la Palma. Very easy to get the 300 bus from right outside the port to El Paso - €1.35 each way and it takes about 40 minutes. Much better than any cruise ship tour!

In the morning, we met at the Fred Olsen counter at the Los Cristianos port terminal. We received our ferry tickets and traveled to La Palma without a guide. The crossing is not for the faint of heart! On La Palma, we were met by Andoni, who accompanied us throughout the day and showed us the highlights of the towns and the natural surroundings, providing plenty of additional information in three languages (Spanish, English, and German). You could hardly do more in those six hours—you get a great impression of this very beautiful island before heading back to Tenerife around 5:00 a.m.


