We enjoy birdwatching, and this was top notch! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided information about the birds, habitats, and behaviors to help with identification and made a specific effort to find as many as possible--21 species the day of our trip. Also discussed the history and interesting trivia about the nature preserve and the local area.

The tour was cancelled on-site because I was the only one booked. The three staff members there were very friendly and tried their best to find alternatives. Since none of them worked (I was going directly to the airport after the tour), they ended up doing the tour just for me. Many thanks to our guide, Diogo, for all the information and the private boat lesson. It was definitely the highlight of my week-long Algarve holiday and a fantastic way to end it. Thank you so much!
