Note that it's more expensive to buy on trip.com vs buying on the counter itself but it might be more convenient given it's denominated in local currency. It's very worth it to buy the card since the attractions covered more than offset the cost of the card. Note you need to go tourist info counter to collect the salzburg card which will be activated only after you visited your first attraction

The tour was great, the tour guide Simon was really excellent, very knowledgeable and funny. We got to see some lovely places that we otherwise wouldn't have seen. just the right amount of singing along.
