The journey was smooth and pleasant (though of course, the boat would rock more on a choppy/stormy day). The instructions for transfer at Nusa Penida were given clearly, and we arrived safely with our luggage in good time. P.S. people who are complaining about this trip haven’t read the itinerary, and/or are just reviewing the weather conditions

Convenient service. After booking on trip.com, a manager contacted me on WhatsApp and sent instructions on where and how to pick up tickets. He also helped arrange a taxi to Padang Bai pier for a good price. We traveled from the pier to Gili in 1.5 hours, comfortably!

I didn’t have any problems. I think the links about location might not be accurate so just type in the service provider into Google map to find their nearest offices. Otherwise the boat is punctual and I didn’t have any problems. You might need to pay additional harbour tax so have some small cash on hand to pay for that.

Boat was punctual, clean. The shop to collect tickets was easy to find. There is a 1 hour stop at Nusa, it was alright. There is Aircon and seats were clean. There is also cafes / shops around the ticket office selling coffee, for those who are there early.


