Reviews: Chiang Mai:Hidden Gems: From Ancient Ruins to Serene Temples

This was probably the coolest tour I went on during my holiday. The guide is extremely knowledgeable and if you're at all interested in history and learning about Lanna architecture and how it differs from the one found in Sukothai/Ayutthaya/Bangkok Area, you're absolutely in the right hands. I loved seeing these places that are off the beaten track and not overrun by tourists. I also joined the sticky waterfall scenic tour in the afternoon and it was similarly amazing. 10/10 loved it.

So fun! We loved our day e-biking outside the city. It was a perfect activity for us, a married couple with one teen son. We were picked up at our lodging on time and driven about thirty minutes outside the city where we got our bikes and a brief rundown. We rode for almost four hours with just the right amount of stops. We stopped at a Buddhist crematorium, a beautiful temple, a roadside vendor selling delicious fried bananas and Thai tea, a rice field, and a couple of other brief-ish stops as needed. Our guide spoke pretty good English and was very attentive to everyone’s well being. We did this excursion in February when the temperature is a bit cooler than when we came in August, which might have been too hot for our son. This was my favorite day trip we’ve done in Thailand over the course of two long visits (I have family retired in Chiang Mai).

First time w electric fat bike. 5 minutes learning curve then very easy bikes to use. Our guide Hockey was friendly and attentive. The countryside was lush and so green everywhere. The views of the temple and the rice field were beautiful. Our small group was fun. Were served a nice lunch and had a great conversation w the owner.
Reviews: Doi Suthep and Wat Pha Lat Sunrise Tour (Small Group Only)

We very much enjoyed our experience going to Doi Suthep to see the sunrise. We had a lovely guide who spoke very good English. Visiting the 3 places works well as they are so different and being up the mountain to watch the sun come up over chiang mai was very special. We also bought alms to give to the monks there, who then chanted us all a blessing. Only criticism would be that our guide didn't really give us instructions about the alms beforehand so we felt a bit silly and sort of followed others that were there too. We really loved Wat Pha Lat in the forest - so peaceful and atmospheric, we'd have liked to stay longer but at least got a good look round on this trip.
Reviews: Chiang Mai : Sticky Waterfall transfer by van (half-day )

We loved the sticky waterfalls - they’re beautiful and a really fun activity to do! We had a mixed experience with the guide. The vehicle and driving were very safe, he communicated clearly when we needed to be back etc. However, 2 mins into the drive he mentioned a tip which did feel uncomfortable as we hadn’t even left yet. He also then immediately said if we don’t tip then we can leave a 5 * review. I didn’t like how this felt pressured to do either. Trying to upsell other activities is expected and we always tip when we have a good experience but this did feel inappropriate so early into the trip.
Reviews: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep spiritual Sunrise Tour with an Ex-monk

You never quite know if reviews will match your experience, this exceeded them. Ty was fantastic, from the first to last moment. So informative, friendly, intuitive, gentle, genuine, I could go on. I was the only person, so even better! Apart from mist rolling in at the last moments before sunrise, nothing could have been beaten. I sat with the older monks as they chanted in the temple, heard history of the temple and explanation of Buddhist traditions, placed food offerings in the monks bowls and had them all chant/pray for me in return. Magical, unforgettable, do not miss this!
