Classic tour. The size of the tour is relatively big (around 60 travellers on a big bus). The time management of the tour is precise.

I think this price is quite cheap considering it includes admission to the Blue Lagoon. Also, the tour lasts from morning until evening. Lunch is not included, so you'll need to eat on your own. I ate at a restaurant near Geysir.

We booked 2 tours with this company for my family (including daughters aged 11 & 13) and loved them both! We did the golden circle with snowmobiling tour plus the south coast and ice cave tour. We were originally due to travel in November but had to cancel due to my husband being hospitalised. I contacted activity iceland to cancel and they arranged a full refund the same day. Collection from our designated bus stop in the super jeep was prompt and the vehicles very comfy. We were in very small groups. We were joined by just one other couple on the first tour and had the tour guide to ourselves on the second tour. Our guides specifically organised the tour in a way that maximised the daylight hours and avoided the crowds. We were lucky enough to get the same driver both days, he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, I don't think there was a question he couldn't answer! He enlightened us not only on the landscapes and geology but also provided many, many insights into life as an Icelander. Thank you for making our first Iceland trip such a memorable experience! P.s. sorry I can't remember the name of our tour guide, it began with a 'H'.

I did this route last year, and this time when I revisited, I specially chose to join a small group tour to the tomato farm. It was definitely worth the trip! There was an Icelandic horse show, a farm greenhouse display, and while it was freezing outside, it was warm and cozy inside. Everything was so clean and tidy. The staff were well-dressed, generous, and polite. I enjoyed delicious tomato soup with farm-baked bread. I was happy and moved. Despite the harsh environment, they still strive to create a beautiful home. That's the Icelander!
