Reviews: Private Experience of Wine Tasting Hua Hin in Monsoon Valley

Excellent service amazing food and a really lovely vibe. Staff very attentive and winery was easy to locate. The deserts were to die for. Highlight was visiting the two well cared for elephants who were friendly and loved the bananas that we fed them from baskets prepared by staff.

Reviews: Your Introduction to the Thai Kitchen

This was a really worthwhile activity and a great way to experience Thai culture and cuisine. The great thing about this is that you are taken to the local market to source the foods to cook. Aoh took us through the five dishes and she was amazing. They catered for my gluten free diet too. A superb experience ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š

Reviews: Sunset Local Eats Food Tour in Hua Hin
Guest User2025-09-02
We loved our tour tonight with Cream. Met Leigh at the first pickup of our other tour journey friend - was sensational to meet the legend who put this all together and to have a few laughs and get a few local tips. We got on our way and to the Tuesday night market (only Tuesday night, so it was kind of special to happen upon it - we didn't know when we booked it) standouts include Chiang Mai sausage (I could have eaten the whole lot!) the steamed dumpling (two styles, one with rice paper the other with tapioca) and the different ways to eat it. I preferred the rice paper one for its texture, but both were really tasty. That sauce...OMG!! The green fried vegetable cake - oh my hat, dipped in the same sauce - different dimension but whole other level of good! The sweet floss dessert with the super-duper thin pandan pancakes (almost like peking duck pancakes but with pandan - and lighter) was a great palate cleanser between the savoury and spicy (I admit - I eat A LOT of chilli - hence my t-shirt which warns so haha) Next stop stewed pork knuckle - oh man... this place is next level good - but Cream knew how to start with the appetisers of fish crackers accompanied by this most amazing salty/hot/sour with a fishy edge - and other bits and pieces like dry grilled flattened squid (my favourite bar snack) and charcoal grilled sea snail pieces on little skewers (delicious), grilled (I think it was dried?) chewy sea bass in a delicious sweet marinade. The pork knuckle gets its own paragraph - I can see how this place has lasted decades... Just wow. The combination of eating the rice cooked in the pork stock, with some strips of pork with whole cloves of garlic (skin and all) and some birds eye chillies - just wow. Cannot speak highly enough of it... Just do it. Then after the tour go back and get it again... we most certainly will (pull up your favourite map app on your phone and pin drop it - so you can tell your grab driver where to take you!) Next stop - Issan restaurant... You may have noticed I'm a spicy food fan - this place did not disappoint with the chillies that I could add ;-) The air dried beef with the crisp fried kaffir lime leaves, crunchy and so, so tasty, go so well together. I could have eaten the whole plate except I needed to keep room for that whole fish when I saw it. The chicken wings were super simple and tasty - again - something you kinda don't wanna stop eating but when you see the setup that comes with the fish - you will. Cream guided us through the Issan style of building the betel leaf, the herbs, the noodle, the two types of sauce (including spicy for me) the fish on top and making a little parcel.... again Oh. My. Hat! Just insanely good... Last stop, which we forgot about because we were talking so much, Cream feels like a family member - chatting and talking about our families and where we come from and what we do in life... Such a great way to do a tour. Leigh - you have a legendary guide here - 100%. The ice dessert - so very refreshing after all the different things we had tried. We have this at home in Australia - but the local daily fresh coconut milk smacks the tinned stuff they use at home out of the park, it's not even the same dessert in our part of the world. Here it is so light and fresh and you want to keep eating. Do book a tour with these guys - we absolutely loved it - shame we don't have more time to do more!! Will DEFINITELY be back next time we are in Hua Hin. THANK YOU!

Reviews: Thai Street Food & Morning Market Walking Tour in Hua Hin

What a great experience. Met our guide, Cream for our Thai street food tour. She was perfect for the role. We loved her personality and she made the tour interesting and fun. We always knew Thai food was great, but this just made everything that much more enjoyable.
