One major advantage is the ability to pre-check in and drop off luggage at some city terminals, then directly board the AREX to the airport, reducing the time and stress of queuing. For travelers with tight schedules, those who prefer to complete procedures early, or those traveling alone, this combination of pre-check-in in the city and the airport express greatly enhances overall travel convenience and peace of mind.

If you have credit card, you may buy the ticket in the ticket machine in the bus stop. Otherwise, you have to find the counter to deal with the staff to exchange the ticket by the QR code. However, I still suggest to buy here in first time if you do not have a guide.

We stayed between Songlun Station and Samsung Station and walked to the COEX City Center Airport Bus Terminal after checking out. The location of the bus terminal was easy to understand, and the voucher to ticket was smooth. It was a Sunday daytime bus, but the bus was on time and very comfortable. There was also a USB port in the seat, and I was grateful that I could charge it.

When traveling to Korea, I recommend using the wowpass card. It has two modes of use: as a debit card and as a Tmoney public transportation card. These modes don't overlap. You can't transfer money from one virtual wallet to the other. This is the only inconvenience. Otherwise, the card makes traveling around Seoul and South Korea much easier.


