Booking the Swiss Travel Pass on Ctrip was very convenient and even offered discounts. After booking, I printed out the QR code and carried it with me, and also downloaded a backup app on my phone. This made it very easy to have the ticket inspector scan the QR code when I encountered a ticket check. The pass was a bit pricey when I bought it, but the benefits were incredible. It allows unlimited travel on trains, buses, subways, boats, and cable cars (some offer discounts), and free admission to museums, making my trip to Switzerland incredibly convenient. I encountered ticket checks on trains, buses, and boats, so don't take chances; always buy a ticket.

Chris was an awesome tour guide and he shared so many fun facts about the lake, taught us great tips for improving our kayaking and really made our time in Interlaken amazing with local ideas for food, activities, and what else to see in Switzerland! It’s a beautiful lake and such a fun way to explore!!
