I used AirAlo on my first trip but it didn’t work in Kosovo. This simcard is the best if you’d travel to the Balkans. Only confusing a bit to check how much data I used as it’s on a link and not an app.

When I first bought it, I saw no reviews about whether it was useful in Kosovo. This time, I actually started from Bosnia and Herzegovina, then went to Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Greece and finally ended up in Bulgaria. During the 30-day usage, the network was good everywhere and it can be shared, which is great.

The e-SIM worked fine, except for the three hours of Maya outage from December 31st to January 1st, 2026. Otherwise, the connection was fine, including calls. I was traveling to Goa.


