The tour guide Daniella was excellent! Very knowledgeable, passionate about the region, gave us insight into the history, and kept us informed about the itinerary. We booked the wine tasting and house show in Jerez. The wine tasting was rushed, as we had hit traffic on the way. It would have been nice to spend more time at the winery. The alternative to the horse show, which was very interesting, would have been a walking tour of Jerez, which most of our group did. So they had more time at the winery. Cadiz was beautiful. We had a short walking tour with Daniella and then had around 1 1/2hrs to get lunch and explore further. The Cathedral is stunning! Great trip for getting an a glimpse of both cities.

Our guide was great and the activities were wonderful, my biggest issue was with the transportation and lack of communication leading up to it. I never received notification on a pickup time, the booking said 8am, but with a note that I would receive communication directly from the company the day before with an exact pickup time for my selected pickup location. I never received any communication, despite me attempting to reach out to the company on my own. I showed up at my pickup location at 8am just to be safe and the staff checked me in and let me know my pick up time was 830am. At 9am I asked them again and they said they had no idea where the bus was, and to keep waiting. Finally around 915, another tour guide said our bus wasn’t coming to this pickup location anymore and our group would need to join their bus to be dropped off another location to reach our bus. They said our missing bus due to all the road construction happening but I was unhappy with the lack of communication.

Enrique was polite, professional, humorous and very passionate about his home city! We explored parts of the city we would not have done have done ourselves. We learn so much about the history of Cadiz and its surrounding area. Enrique was even kind enough to help us check on our parking as he rang the carpark for us! Super morning in Cadiz! Thank you so much
Reviews: Full-Day Private Guided Historic Tour of Gibraltar from Cadiz

We had a lovely time seeing Gibraltar with Mustafa who was knowledgeable, friendly, a safe driver, and fun! He gave great tips on what to do and see while on the rock, and was helpful at how to get pics with the monkeys. He had treats for them so they’d come up and interact but not too much! You need a couple of hours to explore the rock and get a good feel for it. The town is cute and has shopping and cafes. It’s not high end shopping but a mix of touristy and some British items. Walking across the runway is a cool experience so don’t take the taxi back. We had a very kind and good driver, Pedro. We were not happy that the Mercedes van was in the shop, so if you don’t like smaller cars, make sure you confirm the type of transportation. Otherwise, our driver was very nice, safe and accommodating. We also went from Cadiz to Gibraltar. We left at 8:30 and were back around 4. If you have a ship to return to that’s leaving, you could see the rock and such, but you would need to return and not eat lunch or shop much. We ate and shopped for about an hour. We didn’t have to worry about getting back w our shop staying the night though.
