I was traveling with my 20 yr old son, staying in Talkeetna, and we had an afternoon to burn. I called Susitna Sled Dog Adventures and spoke to Alyssa. She set up a tour, I think it was same day. We had a blast! Rohn spent so much time with us introducing us to the dogs--oh my gosh, there were so many beautiful pups--taking them for a walk on their beautiful property and telling us all about sled dog racing and caring for the dogs on his team. And we got hang out with the new puppies. What a cool experience! I hope to go back in winter and go out on the trail with these amazing dogs.

This tour was truly culturally enriching. It began with a visit to the cultural village led by a highly knowledgeable guide, who enthusiastically demonstrated Fijian pottery-making, traditional weapons, and various artefacts. This was followed by a captivating cultural show featuring traditional dances, mesmerizing fire performances, and live music. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious taste of authentic Fijian cuisine. The entire experience was both engaging and enjoyable—I highly recommend it!

Not exaggerating – the best excursion we have ever been on! Group size was small. Captain was nice and first mate was fabulous. Got to see orcas and humpback whales and lots of interesting information. Highly highly highly recommend!

Brilliant day out even though it was pouring down with rain. Saw Orcas and humpback whales guides were really good and kept us entertained. Waterfall was beautiful and glacier was spectacular. Would definitely recommend.
