The pre-trip arrangements were excellent!! The driver on June 13th was also very attentive, patient, meticulous, and warm. Overall, everything was great! Very satisfied! 👍

Reviews: Full day Kairouan & El Jem all inclusive guided tour + lunch

An informative day without being overwhelming. We were a group of three generations and everyone enjoyed it. Ali was an excellent guide, perfectly balancing explanations for everyone with free time at each stop. A welcome logistical detail: there were plenty of bathroom breaks :) It's worth noting that there was a long drive, but this was clearly indicated; we knew this when we booked! Adult entrance fees to Kairouan and El Jem are 20 dinars for each city. Bring cash to pay on site. In conclusion: a wonderful 11-hour day in total, with great memories. Highly recommended.

Reviews: From Sousse: Kairouan Holy City & El Jem Colosseum Day Trip

The tour guide, Professor Wassim, was very friendly and spoke perfectly understandable English. He seemed genuinely eager to please everyone. He speaks many languages. Of course, he only gave a superficial overview, but that was necessary with this group, as most of us unfortunately lacked a deeper interest. Lunch was a small buffet at a hotel. Aside from the usual tourist stop to sell us carpets, everything was very interesting. The guide justified this stop by explaining that (wait for it!) TUI was the tour operator. The time spent in the Medina of Kairouan was far too short. Just think of all the things we could have done there instead of listening to the lecture about carpets! There were also many nicer things to buy in the city. A real shame. The final reason I'm only giving 3 stars instead of 4 is the price. €84 for this excursion is simply far too expensive.
