Reviews: Koh Lanta: Snorkel Tour by Speedboat to Koh Haa and Koh Rok
Guest User2026-04-28
The trip was well organised - everything just in time and all the information was understandable. The staff is friendly and polite. You have to pay extra on place for visiting national park (Koh Rock), keep it in mind. The fins are not provided and cost 100 baht. While on board, they suggest a pill from seasickness. Unlimited water on board was for free and a lunch was quite good - it had massaman curry with potatoes, rice and fried chicken. Also there were fruit on lunch and after the last snorkeling. As for snorkeling - there were three spots. It was my first snorkeling and I can’t say anything objective, but it seemed to me that in all snorkeling spots there were not much fish and the second and the third spots were just similar. Anyway, it’s a very interesting experience
Reviews: From Koh Lanta: 4 Islands, Emerald Cave & Koh Kradan by Longtail Boat

Overall we enjoyed the day it was a nice day out. The experiences were fun however they crammed 30 people into a small longtail boat which was a little uncomfortable as we could not move or were not allowed stand while the boat was moving. Unfortunately this was the downside to the trip and it could have been prevented with a smaller group for a more enjoyable day!
Reviews: Thailand Ko Rok + Ko Haa 1-day tour|Island hopping + snorkeling|Optional departure from Phuket, Krabi, or Lanta
Guest User2026-02-04
The journey was long. It took over an hour to get to the pier, another hour to wait for others, and 1.5 hours to get out to sea by boat. Many people vomited. After a long and arduous journey, we finally arrived at the snorkeling spot, only to find many corals dead. Due to the island's closure period, there were some sea fish, and we could also see starfish, sea cucumbers, and large clams. There were two very small Nemo fish. Overall, it didn't have the same wild, untamed feel as the Similan Islands do after their closure. In short, don't have high expectations. Those with time can come and see it, but there's no real loss if you don't. The price-performance ratio isn't high. However, the crew's service was quite good, and they offered free photography services. The seawater there was also beautiful, considering it was deep water, close to the national border.
Reviews: 1-day tour to Ko Rok + Ha Island in Krabi, Thailand [Hidden diving paradise | Established boat company]

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel picked us up in the morning and took us to the pier. We changed into our swimsuits and had some snacks before setting off by boat. The journey took about 1.5 hours each way. Snorkeling time was short, only two sessions, each about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the island, we went to Koh Rok. We had lunch on the island; the staff prepared a simple meal, which showed they put in a lot of effort. We spent about two hours on the island. There were many unoccupied villas; I don't know if they can be booked. They looked nice, but it was a pity they were deserted. Also, everyone should be mindful of environmental protection on the island and not smoke indiscriminately, otherwise you will be fined. Before disembarking, we gave some tips; the tour guides worked very hard for the day.
