Reviews: Monument Valley: Backcountry Jeep Tour with Navajo Guide

Monument Valley is already amazing in itself, but traveling through it with someone who has permits to go where others, with private vehicles, can't, adds an extra dimension to the experience. An experience you absolutely must have.
Reviews: Tonalea: Guided Eggshell Arch Hike w/ Day or Sunset Options
Guest User2025-04-22
Excellent tour! The arch was fantastic and the scenery getting there was beautiful, big canyons, wild horses and hidden springs. Our guide, Lyrono, grew up right there and knew everything about the local terrain, history, plants, animals and culture. Close to Page, easy to get to, highly recommended!

A fantastic tour! Our guide was amazing and, despite our limited English, he adapted perfectly. He was friendly and very pleasant. He took us to beautiful places and took some superb photos. I highly recommend it!
Reviews: Monument Valley: Sunset Tour with Navajo Guide
Guest User2026-04-08
The sunset tour was fantastic. We spent most of the time in an area that can only be accessed with a guide. He was incredibly well-prepared and even played the sounds of the canyon for us on his flute. We felt transported to another time. We would book it again in a heartbeat. The organization was seamless. The tour is highly recommended, as the light in the evening truly enhances the beauty and magic of the place.

John led a very well timed and most interesting tour blending Navajo culture and the natural beauty of the Valley! We really appreciated his first hand knowledge and description of the local plants and their cooking and medicinal uses. The most interesting stop was the awesome stop at Eagle Eye Arch. As I return home and share my Monument Valley adventure, I am sharing this awesome tour led by John
