We were picked up very punctually and were lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour. This meant we arrived at Jozani early, with very few others there. Thanks to our truly excellent guide, we were able to see all sorts of animals, especially monkeys. The guide's extensive knowledge was a real plus. The mangrove forest was also impressive. Because we arrived early, we practically had the boardwalk to ourselves and were able to take fantastic photos in the receding tide. As soon as our tour was over, hordes of other tourists arrived, causing complete traffic chaos. There are no paved roads there, and they're all very narrow.
