I was in a hurry to get to Umeda, so I chose the Haruka train, which is direct. I used an e-ticket, which I registered on the JR West website and entered by pasting my ticket number. After immigration, I simply selected a reserved seat according to my time, which was very convenient. To board the train, I went up to the second floor after immigration to the tram platform. I entered through the JR gate and queued for the ground-level Haruka carriage.

Very convenient, buy and use immediately, and the price is super cheap, a great deal. For less than 100 yen, I got to experience three attractions: the Mosaic Ferris Wheel, the Herb Garden cable car (round trip), and Suma Marine World. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!!

Buying through Ctrip was very convenient, and the prices were more affordable than other places during promotions. We exchanged our tickets for reserved seats at the airport and then used our 5-day wide-area pass to visit the Honshu region, which we had never been to before. We also rode the adorable panda-themed train – a fantastic experience!

I used the 2-day Osaka Amazing Pass for a family trip to Osaka in late July to early August. It was great because it offered free entry to the Sky Garden, Osaka Castle, the Dotonbori Cruise, and the subway, and the usage instructions were QR code-based.

It's very easy to use, just open the app, scan the QR code, and go directly to the entrance/exit. However, there's only one QR code scanner at each station's entrance and exit, which might be a bit insufficient. Sometimes you might have to wait in line to scan the QR code to enter the station. Also, sometimes accessing the website to get the QR code might be interrupted; you might not find it and need to register again via email to get the QR code again. This might happen occasionally.
