Very convenient! Booking in advance on Trip.com is cheaper than booking at the pier. Check in at the pier 30 minutes before departure. The air conditioning on the way there wasn't very cool, but it was very cool on the way back. The boat is large and comfortable.

The booking process was easy; we got our tickets at the pier ticket office, which was cheaper than paying cash. There were still seats available on the boat, and you can also check in your luggage.

The pick-up and drop-off service was so convenient; we could just wait for the car at the hotel. Since we were staying at the Phi Phi North Nature Resort, we booked a ride to Lanthong Pier. We had to transfer boats directly at sea near Tonsai Bay, which was a bit inconvenient for those prone to seasickness, as we had to wait for the other boat. We waited quite a while; we departed at 8:30 AM and didn't disembark until 11:30 AM. Then the hotel's tractor came to pick us up. Aside from the long journey time, it was very convenient.

I was pleasantly surprised by the price of the Trip Com, and by the ship's capacity. The ship was large, so it didn't shake at all, which meant I didn't get seasick. Both departure and arrival were on time. I recommend this mode of transport. The pier in Krabi is a bit far, but there's nothing you can do about it. The pier in Phi Phi Don is literally 100 meters from the city center, and there's a pleasant deck on board where you can sunbathe and enjoy the views.
