Our guide, Primos (spelling?) was outstanding! He shared facts and stories about the places we visited and modified our tour when we were too tired to do much more walking. He is rightfully very proud of his city, Lyubljana, and made us feel like we were visiting a friend showing off his hometown. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. My partner and I booked this tour because we like knowing the histories of the places we visit. Despite many travels to Europe and Italy in the past, neither of us had been to Trieste. Our tour guide was very well prepared and able to answer all of our questions. She was also flexible enough to begin the tour in a different location than she normally does because there was no parking near our hotel. I would recommend this tour to anyone provided they are healthy enough to walk up and down Trieste’s hilly terrain.

The guide was amazing; he spoke Spanish, even though the tour was in English. He was incredibly engaging and friendly, and his knowledge of his country's history was impeccable. He made the trip enjoyable, pleasant, and even funny. I loved it and would definitely go back. It was one of my best tours; I remember every single explanation.

Started out in dodgy weather which got worse, until we got to Piran when the sun came out at just the right moment. Great guide who offered us a bit of the traditional blueberry and honey tipple at the end. Lovely company on the trip in a comfortable mini-bus. Thoroughly recommended.


