Reviews: Kimono Rental Experience in Kyoto by Sakakujing
Guest User2026-02-16
I saw many online reviews, so I decided to try this one. I was torn between choosing a kimono shop and noting that I didn't know which one to go with. When I arrived in the morning, the staff clearly explained how to choose a kimono. The stylist was meticulous, and the makeup and hair were perfectly coordinated. If you have trouble making decisions, you should definitely choose this one. But remember to allow plenty of time, because good things are worth the wait. Give the stylists enough time to carefully coordinate your outfit and do your makeup. It gets a lot of attention on the streets of Kyoto, which tells you you made the right choice. Highly recommended!
Reviews: [Cherry Blossom Season] One-Day Tour of Ancient Temples in Kyoto, Japan + Nara Park with Adorable Deer + Fushimi Inari Shrine

My husband said he wanted to go to Kyoto when we were traveling to Osaka, so we looked around and booked this day tour, which I liked the most. Luckily, the bus got off right in front of our accommodation, which was great, and we had a blast meeting our friendly guide, Jang Jun-mo. Seeing deer in Nara was also a memorable experience, and the weather was so nice that we were so happy. Our guide worked really hard to explain things in both Chinese and Korean because it was a global bus. 👍 We also had just the right amount of free time, which was great. I absolutely loved the day tour, and I highly recommend it.

Great overview of the ceremony and was fun to participate. Features a beautiful garden and photo op. Nice relaxing activity amid the hustle and bustle of Gion.

The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.
