This full day excursion allowed us to experience two UNESCO World Heritage sites in one day. The Wieliczka Salt Mine was a fascinating look into the history of an importance of the mine and the Cathedral was an amazing feat of engineering. While the Auschwitz-Birkenau portion tour was an eye opening heart wrenching look into one of the most horrific events in humanity. Touring the camps will haunt me forever, yet it is important we never forget.
What made our tour even more memorable was our tour driver, Hubert. Not only was he one of the most personable drivers I've ever had, he enjoyed teaching me a few Polish phrases. I would definitely take another tour if we could have Hubert again.★

Was a fabulous day doing this tour.
Picked us up right from our hotel, Matthew who was driving us was lovely, chatting away, told us what we were doing & what was going to be happening.
Got to the salt mines, Matthew got us to right place made sure we were in, he had our tickets on the phone which was handy!!
we then left Matthew & followed people in front (wasn’t too sure if that’s what we were doing) but ended up being okay!
Salt mines itself was great!
Very fast paced , as there is a lot to see but a lot of groups… so take photos quickly lol!
But tour guides are great, so informative.
Matthew was then waiting for us to finish in same place, took us back to our same place he collected!
What a fab!!

Neko was full of energy and very interactive. I appreciated hearing what he shared on our journey there and back. And he gave me a banger of a recommendation for a traditional Polish restaurant that makes you feel like you’re an eating a meal your grandma made.
