The trip to Ala-Archa was one of the highlights of my Bishkek trip. I was astounded by the scale of the gorge and the beauty of the mountain scenery—it was like stepping into another reality. The panoramic views and the silence, broken only by the sound of the river, were especially memorable. I recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything was perfect: the comfortable transfer, the knowledgeable guide, and the precise schedule. Special thanks to our guide, Shairbek, for his tips on the best photo spots and for organizing lunch at a trout farm—an immersion into the local atmosphere. He was attentive and very accommodating to our wishes and requests.

I learned more about Kyrgyzstan, and tried a larger sample of Kyrgyzstan foods, than I ever could have on my own. My guide Farukh was cheerful and worked hard to ensure that I had the best time. I cannot think of one thing I would change from this tour. It was everything a tasting tour should be.

A great SIM card for traveling; the internet worked right away at the airport without any issues. Over the month of use, it disconnected two or three times. Manually searching for a network helped, but most likely this was a glitch either with the phone or with the local providers.
