It was a fantastic experience. The teacher's explanations were very engaging, and I learned a lot. I learned how to identify the Southern Cross, Alpha Beta Centauri, and that the brightest star is Sirius. Gazing at the starry sky and listening to the explanations, and afterwards enjoying hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows, plus a group photo under the stars, it was all unforgettable.

it was great. I knew in advance the Hooker Valley track was closed but Barbara made the trip worthwile and had good suggestions for other tracks to be walked

Fantastic views and interesting explanations about farming in New Zealand. The welcome and viewing of the animals at the beginning is kindergarten-like, and they can be left out as far as we're concerned.


