We had an amazing time learning about and tasting so many foods and drinks that are unique to Peru with our wonderful guide Miguel. The tour was in the centre of Lima, the old town, which is architecturally stunning. Miguel was very knowledgable about not only gastronomy but also the history of Lima; we learned so much from him and he was truly a delight. I highly recommend this tour for all the reasons noted above but also because we likely would not have eaten some of the unique and delicious food otherwise. Final comment - come hungry as you will be absolutely stuffed by the end of the tour.★

We were not by Ami who was very personable and had great energy ( but not too much!!)
She explained the day well and took us for coffee first. One tip ( don't eat too much breakfast or book a big dinner for the evening).
A local milkshake, a walk around the Bridge of Sighs, a visit to a market to sample unusual fruits, a Pisco masterclass and then making our own ceviche young coconut. Followed by some delicious starters. Then off to the impressive Huaca Pucllana for a delicious lunch.
I can really recommend this tour, and it was made even more interesting by our much travelled guide who was really informative and gave us an insight into the chequered (recent) political history of the Peruvian people. Thank you Ami
