We arrived in time for sunset. The scenery was magnificent, and we were able to witness some beautiful lava explosions! Be sure to wear good shoes (the climb is steep in places!) and bring a windproof jacket for the viewing area. Thanks to Orlando for his kindness and explanations.

I took this tour with my girlfriend, our first together, to do something to remember: it was the best choice I could have made. Well I guess you have to be a bit lucky that you see the vulcano erupt. It usualy erupts a lot, but we only saw it once. Overall it was a nice trip and worth it.

Excellent tour, excellent guide! If you're in the area and have some time, you should definitely visit Stromboli! My only criticism: a little more time at the viewing platform in complete darkness would have been nice.


