The Melbourne Scenic Railway + Phillip Island day trip is well worth it overall. The train ride through the rainforest with your feet dangling out the window is incredibly charming and has a vintage feel. The guide reminded us that sitting on the right side offers the best view. Although it was cold at night when the penguins returned to their nests, seeing the little penguins waddling ashore was truly heartwarming. The trip was long, and we got back to the city close to 11 pm, so it was tiring, but it saved us the hassle of transferring and buying tickets ourselves. The guide's explanations were clear, and the time was well-planned. I recommend it to anyone wanting to see two classic attractions in one day.★

Our trip during the National Day holiday was quite unpredictable in Melbourne's spring weather.
The trip to Phillip Island was a bit late, around 10 am to 10 pm, perfect for those who love to sleep in.
The little train wasn't fast, and the journey was long regardless of whether it was sunny or cloudy. Phillip Island (and its penguins) is quite weather-dependent; on sunny days, the beach scenery was incredibly soothing, and it wasn't too cold to see the little penguins at night.
We arrived at a good time; the weather was suddenly sunny and breezy when we got to Phillip Island! We managed to take pictures of the chubby little penguins and the Australian specialty grey geese during the day.
The driver was very talkative throughout the trip, covering topics from farms to koalas, penguins, and Australian seafood. Everyone on the bus was very punctual, so we didn't waste any time.★

The miniature train and winery tour was fantastic! The miniature train on a rainy day even had a Hogwarts feel! The train staff were handsome! The winery tasting was excellent! The Chinese-speaking driver was very patient, communication was easy, and he even recommended good places to eat and do things! Highly recommended!★

The eSIM package was outstanding, never had an issue and what makes it brilliant is the price. I only paid £5 for a month with 30gb and I just recently renewed as I will be here in Australia for 3 months. Definitely, I'm gonna start using Trip.com e service.
