We had a wonderful trip to Basin One in Cataract Gorge. This trip is well-worth while. If there are children on board, perhaps sit near the speakers so that you can hear the commentary as it is not always clear or loud (but MOST informative).

Last holiday activity for visiting son and two young grandsons (8 and4) before heading back to Sydney. Interesting trip -learned a lot about History of Launceston. The Cataract Gorge was the highlight -spectacular rock formations. Well worth taking the cruise and not too long for active youngsters.

The tour was lovely. We saw many birds. The food was delicious. The captain was very friendly and informative. It is a nice activity to do especially if the weather is clear so you can see the sights on the river.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience with this Tasmanian Devil, and Quoll sanctuary. I was so pleased and extremely happy to see that they were all taken care of, so beautifully! Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated by these exceptional creatures, (the tasmanian devil). And to finally see them in person, thriving, was the ultimate experience of my Australia trip! I will never forget this experience, and I want to give a huge thank you, and shout-out to the young man, the guide who informed me about these beautify creatures, and how they are being brought back from such circumstances
