This trip was absolutely wonderful. Our driver was Jack. He arrived at the hotel on time, helped us throughout the trip, bought us tickets to the wall and a shuttle pass, gave us recommendations, and met us at the agreed-upon location. Jack spoke English and answered all our questions. We felt comfortable throughout the trip. We also met some fellow Russians on the wall who had a small problem, and Jack helped them too. Thank him very much! As for the section of the wall itself, it's very picturesque, with many watchtowers and both restored and unrestored sections. There are a lot of steps, but surprisingly, we weren't too tired. The weather was simply wonderful, and there weren't many people. I highly recommend it!

Tickets for Jiulong Lake were set at Trip.com , which is quite favorable. We are two families with a total of 6 people traveling together. During the itinerary, we arranged to live in Shangri-La in the center of Ningbo, about 18 kilometers away from the scenic spot, so that we can feel the nightlife of the city and the beautiful scenery of the scenic spot. Jiulong Lake is an artificial lake. The scenic spot is quite large, but because it is a June trip, it still feels a bit hot, but the air is very fresh. Overall it is a good holiday choice.

What an amazing experience!!! Selecting Jinshanling was a great decision as we were able to experience the beauty of the untouched part of the Great Wall. Less people and more beautiful scenery!! Our guide Susie was vey friendly and helpful, made our tour super convenient with her tips and communication!!!

Doing this trip during the winter was so worth it- there was almost no one else at the Jinshaling section of the wall when we were there! If it is snowy/icy, I wouldn't recommend going to Jinshaling though as it will be too slippery (there were some steep climbs). The driver was there on time to drop us off at the wall and was there again to take us back. One thing I would say is that you do NOT get a guide with this tour, basically just a driving service- I thought that wasn't very clear on the description. Everything else was great, no complaints 👍

I joined the tour at the last minute, so I didn't have high expectations. However, our tour guide, Susie, was surprisingly considerate of us. The bus first dropped off the larger group at Gubei Water Town, and then we transferred to a minibus to Jinshanling. I must say, the minibus driver, Mr. An, was incredibly thoughtful. He took care of every single tourist. He even urged us to get on the bus quickly in the evening because it was getting chilly. Jinshanling Great Wall. I descended the mountain from the East Five-Eyed Tower. Every snapshot I took was a beautiful scene. If you have enough time, I recommend watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. This way, you can see the golden hues of Jinshanling. I am very satisfied with this tour organized by Ctrip.


