Destrehan plantation is beautiful. We recently experienced the Hauntings of Destrehan Tour. Our guide Alan was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. He taught us local history that we were not familiar with. The ghost stories were great. We were able to walk the property with ghost hunting equipment which was awesome. We believe that we had interactions with spiritual entities. I highly recommend this tour. It was awesome. If ghosts stories are not your thing take the historical tour. It’s well worth the trip. We enjoyed this experience very much.★

It was really nice to get out of the French quarter and see more of the city. It was nice to see the park and the lake. We only stopped once at the cafe du monde in the park, which was nice, but I was hoping to stop and get out a few more times for pictures. It was nice to have a small group and a personal guide though. At the end of the tour they will take you back to where they picked you up or drop you off wherever you want to go so they took us to Frenchmen street. Overall it was a good way to see the city and learn about the history of New Orleans.★

I arrived with two grumpy teenagers in tow - and they were won over immediately by an energetic tour guide. We visited four restaurants that were well researched. I also enjoyed the other participants on the tour. Overall this is a great way to get an introduction to the city, as they knew the history and had good relationships with the local businesses.★
