Although there aren't many Chinese tourists in Armenia, I highly recommend that tourists avoid hiring a private car and instead book a local tour. While you can try to find a tour on-site, Armenians' English isn't generally very good, and you're likely to be overcharged. The day before booking this tour, I inquired at several tours to Lake Sevan, and they all quoted high prices for foreigners. In the end, I just took a taxi. You can also contact a driver to hire a car for the day, which is cheaper.
Back to this tour, since it was mostly foreigners, the tour guide spoke excellent English, providing explanations at each attraction in English. They also included a pancake-making activity. The only extra cost is that they'll ask you to pre-order lunch on the bus, but it's not expensive, so I recommend booking it.★

We were picked up from our hotel and then dropped off. The driver was very pleasant, neat, and friendly, although he wasn't a guide, and he told us a lot of interesting things about Armenia and its sights. Our car was luxurious and very comfortable. We traveled at a leisurely pace through the locations. We give it a 10/10.★

We liked the trip a lot. Our guide Anastasia told us lots of interesting things (in perfect English) and was very nice, and Marat, the driver, was also very nice. The food was delicious and we liked a lot the itinerary. Everything perfect!★

My tour of Khor Virap, Noravank, and Tatev Monasteries with Hyur company was absolutely amazing! Eduard, our guide, was once again outstanding—his deep understanding of Armenia's religious history made the visits to these ancient monasteries even more meaningful. Khor Virap, with its stunning views of Mount Ararat, was a spiritual experience, and Noravank's unique architecture nestled in the red cliffs was breathtaking. The highlight of the tour was Tatev Monastery, which we reached via the incredible ropeway, offering spectacular views. Hagob, our driver, was absolutely amazing, he ensured a safe and comfortable journey throughout. This tour is a must-do for anyone exploring Armenia!
