Reviews: Doi Inthanon Waterfall and Royal Project Chiang Mai

We had a wonderful day at the national park. Our driver picked us up from our hotel in Chiang Mai and we had a two hour drive to the top of the mountain. After a brief stop at the top (to say you have been to the peak) we went to the pergola’s. They and the gardens around them are beautiful, the views stunning, take time to appreciate your surroundings. After a brief stop at the hill tribes market, which is worth the stop for local produce, we started our trek. We met and paid for a guide to take us part way down the mountain. This is a fabulous walk passing many waterfalls, paddy field, plantation’s and all sorts of nature. We were lucky to see a snake. The walk ended with coffee freshly ground by some of. Hill tribes. Delicious. Absolutely loved our day, the weather was good. The park is well run and looked after. My tip would be to take some smaller notes with you to pay the nominal fees, purchases from the market and tips.

We had a fabulous day. We were picked up and driven to the start of an amazing jungle trek. Our guide spoke excellent english, was very knowledgeable and interesting. We saw Gibbons swinging in the trees, waterfalls and rice paddies. We stopped at the coffee plantation for lunch and a chance to buy local products for gifts. Then we went to the beautiful King and Queen Temple complex before going to meet the elephants. This was an incredible experience. The elephants are roaming free in the field. They come over to be fed and interact. Such beautiful creatures, so well looked after. A truly wonderful interaction. I would highly recommend this trip.

The best memory of Chiang Mai! The trip was very well planned, with all the necessary stops included and all the described locations visited. We were left with a wealth of pleasant experiences, as in just one day, we not only saw Thailand's historical and natural landmarks but also drank delicious local coffee and tea, saw rice terraces, ate mountain strawberries, and bought local clothing, souvenirs, and food. The included lunch was also delicious and filling. Vegetarians and gluten-free options were also available. Special thanks to our guide, Fromm. His cheerful and positive attitude energized us from the very morning – he shared a wealth of information about the locations we visited, Thailand's history, local customs, people, and food. This tour is definitely worth taking!
