Reviews: Chiang Mai Thai Cooking Lessons: 5 Cooking Schools Optional

A car picked us up from the hotel, and the driver was friendly. We first went to the market to learn about food ingredients, which was very interesting. The farm was large and comfortable, and the introduction to various herbs was rich and interesting. The instructor explained things clearly, was friendly and funny, and the cooked food was delicious. It was a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience!

I signed up for the full-day class. The teacher was very dedicated, and it was a very fun experience. There were assistants to help with cleaning and preparing the ingredients, so I just needed to focus on making and tasting the food. After the whole course, I was so full that I didn't need to eat dinner.

Happy to have a taste of shooting at chiang mai, where it’s so expensive in my home country.
Reviews: Afternoon Tea at InterContinental Chiang Mai Mae Ping Hotel | Teresa Teng Afternoon Tea
Guest User2025-10-15
Room 1502 on the 15th floor of the hotel is where Teresa Teng lived. The room currently open for viewing is Room 1602 on the 16th floor, which is sometimes called a replica of the exhibition room. The hotel charges 950 baht per person for afternoon tea and a room tour. We booked it in advance through Ctrip (163 RMB per person). Upon arrival, the hotel staff verified our e-voucher and took us to the 16th floor. We were seated for afternoon tea (the 12 of us chose a larger private room) and were then free to explore the adjacent rooms. The room had looping videos and music playing. The window offered a stunning view of Chiang Mai's cityscape, and below, the hotel gardens. After the room tour, afternoon tea was served. It included exquisite sweet and savory treats, paired with three teas: jasmine, oolong, and chrysanthemum. Each person could also order a coffee. I ordered an iced Americano, which was delicious. My friends and I had a very enjoyable afternoon tea together, and we were all very satisfied with the quality of the tea and the service. This is a truly nostalgic experience worth experiencing in person.

The store is enthusiastic and responsive. The pick-up is also very convenient. The coach of the jungle leap will also speak Chinese. It is very friendly to children and highly recommended!
Reviews: Chiang Mai Karen Elephant Serenity – Walk with Elephants & Bamboo Rafting Day Tour

We had a great time - initially we were a bit nervous cuz u hear so much stuff about unethical fake elephant sanctuaries - but the guide was from the main elephant nature park (which was all booked up). It was a score as it was off peak and we had the whole place to ourselves. So they do assist these smaller sanctuary’s and help them out with these tours and offer them food. Really magical to see them lumbering up from the forest and we got to feed them and follow them to the river and see them play in the mud. It is pretty low key and she has these 2 elephants - and they looked pretty oompah-loompa chunky and happy. The baby unfortunately has some head shaking that they say is a result of trauma so it’s wonderful to see her free. But it’s a really sweet experience that we highly recommend. She does these tours and keeps the farm going so she can afford to feed them. As for the river rafting- it’s fun and also great to see elephants on land while u whizz past but it’s pretty’rustic’
