Mahmoud was the best part of the tour. He is friendly and was an amazing ambassador for Jeddah and Al Balad. He recommended that I go on this tour at night 7:30pm. I was skeptical at first being so late. But that is where I learned the locals come out after sunset. The whole Al Balad was bustling with people. It’s truly amazing. And on the way back he mentioned about King Fahad’s fountain and I said I couldn’t see it he made a detour just to show me the fountain. He definitely is an amazing person and an amazing guide. Highly recommend doing this tour! Also it’s good to know that the town comes alive after sunset and could go past midnight!
