The trip was very well organized. They picked us up at the hotel in a beautiful taxi and took us to Stonetown in about an hour. Our guide, "Milano," speaks excellent Italian and gave us all the information we needed about Prison Island. Lunch on Nakupenda Island was fantastic. Grilled fish and shellfish with rice and chips. Everything on board the boat was also excellent. Highly recommended.

At the end of our stay in Zanzibar, we wanted to organise a bespoke private tour of Stone Town to include hotel pick-up and airport drop off with our luggage. Mo and his team sorted it without any problem and at a very fair price. Mohammed, our driver and tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The tour was exactly what we were looking for – not too short, but not too long either. Perfect for traveling with a small child (5 years old)! We saw the most important sights; you could certainly spend more time there, but whether that's necessary is up to you. Our guide, Ramadan, and driver, Mussa, were very, very nice. Ramadan spoke excellent German, which he was happy to use! If there were any minor communication problems, we switched to English. We were very satisfied. Pick-up was at 9:00 AM and we were back at 2:00 PM! The drive took about an hour each way to and from the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort!

The driver arrived promptly. The guides at both the spice farm and Stone Town were very knowledgeable, and their stories were engaging and informative. We were very satisfied with the tour and would definitely recommend it.


