I used it in China and Sri Lanka. I downloaded it in China, but I couldn't use it properly. I got help from a Chinese guy in his 20s, and luckily I was able to connect just as I left the express train's Wi-Fi area. I think it's important to check if it works at the airport and when the airport Wi-Fi is cut off, but I think it was a good idea. I extended my trip, so I purchased it for a slightly longer period, so this was also good.

Bought the eSim for a 8 day trip to Cebu and surrounding islands. Great, easy to install and use. I couldn't activate it before my trip and a quick chat to customer service confirmed that. After landing, activation was smooth and easy, just remember need to turn on roaming for the eSIM.


