I personally tested this and it's excellent. It was delivered by SF Express the day after I ordered, very reliable.
Most importantly, I could get reserved seats on all the transfers, and it wasn't tiring to carry luggage. This travel pass allowed me to travel from Tokyo, where I could redeem it immediately at the service center, and visit Tokyo, Karuizawa, Nagano, Toyama, Matsuyama, and even spend half a day in Tsuruga for seafood.
