I was convinced there was no way I would be able to get up on a board, but I did! Our whole crew had a fantastic time. In added bonus is there is a photographer to catch the proof! We are considering going back just to rent the surf gear and going back out on our own! Mahalo! ★

This tour was such a fun trip! The boat was beautifully maintained, the snorkel equipment was in excellent condition and worked well, the crew were friendly and protective while we snorkeled. Breakfast and lunch were served, both done very well. There were plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the tour. And the views, of course, were amazing!!! So glad we took the Calypso!!★

We booked Makena Coast Charters in Maui for the 2.5-hour snorkeling tour at Molokini Crater. Matt and Lucia were excellent guides, even stopping along the way to give us a good, long look at whales breaching the surface. They provided thorough instructions and fun facts about the area and sea life. The crystal clear waters covering the reef along Molokini's coast provided beautiful snorkeling with an abundance of interesting coral and fish to see. We highly recommend a tour with Makena Coast Charters when visiting Maui, and we will definitely see them again on our next visit. Note: our actual time in the water was 30 to 45 minutes.★

The crew were ALL super helpful and fun! They were always smiling, cheerful and wanting to help whenever they needed to help someone. Phil was especially helpful explaining how to use the snorkel gear to those of us that needed a little refresher or newbies. It was easy to use the ladder to get in the water and then back up on the boat. I have bilateral knee replacements, so a few things are challenging, but this wasn’t! Yay! We all enjoyed going down the slide and into the ultra clear perfect temperature water too! We saw soooo many beautiful colorful fish! We saw clown fish, needle nose fish, rainbow fish, They had a photographer that took photos in and out of the water for an extra charge and she did a great job! Also there’s not a bad seat on the boat. Lots of seating! Breakfast was muffins and fresh fruit, coffee, water which was great! Lunch was delicious! Pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, lots of beverages, cookie for dessert. It was an amazing excursion and one we will remember for a lifetime!
