Reviews: Kakadu National Park Wildlife & Ubirr Rock Art Tour from Darwin

Despite the description warning people they needed good fitness we only did 1.5km of walking which was a little disappointing. Majority of the time was spent on the coach which is to be expected with how far it is to be honest but we could have gotten out and walked at fogg damn instead of just sitting on the coach. The rock art is difficult to see but the tour guide was VERY knowledgeable and spoke almost the whole journey and about all paintings.

Great few hours seeing the jumping crocodiles. A “not for profit” company and all the money goes back to preserving the area, nature etc. Saw a good few crocs and what an experience to get up so close and personal in their own environment. Darell our guide was fab, telling us lots of information on the way and stopping to capture photos of different things. A brief stop at Humpty Doo Hotel on the way back was a nice surprise! Overall a fabulous trip, a must do!!!

Pick-up was punctual. Leigh (our guide) was professional but easy going (and super knowledgeable). Loads of info, as well as great at managing the group. The Flying Crocs were awesome and the swimming holes were a great experience. Highly recommend this tour if you’ve only got a day available for exploring the Outback.
